LittleCMS Insighter is that tool, and it is completely free.
Built on LittleCMS 2 and Qt 6, Insighter exposes every tag, every pipeline stage, every number stored in an ICC profile, presented visually and in human-readable form. No raw hex guessing, no manual spec lookups. Just open a profile and start reading.

ICC Header at a Glance
Device class, color space, PCS, rendering intent, creator, creation timestamp, and MD5 profile ID, all in one panel the moment a profile loads.
Every Tag, Fully Decoded
Click any entry in the tag table and the viewer fills in immediately. Related tags are highlighted in the same color so you can see at a glance which curves, matrices, and colorants belong together. Tags that share storage with another tag are flagged with a link indicator.
Tone Curves
Each channel plotted as a smooth graph with zoom, pan, and right-click controls. Parametric curve formulas and their parameters are decoded and shown as tooltips.
Matrices
Chromatic adaptation and shaper-matrix values rendered in proper bracket notation: rows, columns, and offset vector exactly as stored in the profile.
CLUTs — Slice by Slice
Multi-dimensional lookup tables rendered as an interactive 2D color plane. Fix any dimension with the combo boxes and browse the rest freely.
Pipeline Workflow Diagram
AToB, BToA, DToB, and BToD tags are shown as a visual stage-by-stage diagram. Click any node to jump directly to that stage’s tab.
Chromaticity Diagram
Color primaries and the media white point plotted on the standard CIE 1931 diagram, with the spectral locus and D50/D65 reference points drawn automatically.
Named Colors
Color lists decoded into a table with index, name, PCS values, device values, and a live color swatch column. Right-click any row to copy the data.
Hex Viewer
Optional raw tab showing offset, hex, and ASCII columns for every tag — useful for deep-level debugging. Enable it once in Preferences and forget about it otherwise.
Enhanced Mode — More When You Already Have It
Insighter is fully featured at no cost. No catch.
If you already use any of the LittleCMS desktop products listed below, two additional visualization tools activate automatically. No configuration, no license key to enter. Insighter detects the installed product and unlocks the extras silently.
3D Gamut Hull
See the full color gamut of any RGB or ink-based profile as an interactive three-dimensional convex hull in CIE Lab space. Each vertex is colored with its Lab-derived sRGB approximation, giving you an immediate intuitive read of gamut shape, volume, and richness. Rotate freely, zoom with the wheel, and export the geometry to VRML for import into any 3D application.
Soft Proofing
Load a PNG, JPEG, or BMP image and preview exactly how it will look reproduced through the loaded profile; live, on your monitor. Switch rendering intents, enable black-ink or media-color simulation, turn on gamut-check highlighting, and hover over any pixel for an eyedropper readout of the channel values in the proofing color space.

Only one of the above needs to be installed and registered on the same computer. Insighter checks automatically at startup.
