Little CMS Monitor ICC Tweaker is a monitor ICC profile refinement tool. It allows you to visually and interactively adjust ICC profiles for your display, enhancing color fidelity, appearance, and workflow-specific characteristics. Whether you’re working with manufacturer-supplied profiles or custom spectrophotometric measurements, this tool helps you fine-tune them with precision.
This is not a profiling tool, but a profile enhancer—a way to elevate existing ICC monitor profiles to professional-grade accuracy.
What does this program do?
This application is designed for professionals and enthusiasts who demand precise control over monitor color rendering. It supports both matrix-shaper and LUT-based profiles, and offers:
- Real-time image preview: Load any RGB image (JPEG, PNG, BMP) and instantly see how your tweaks affect the rendering.
- Base curve adjustments: Modify gamma and offset per channel (R, G, B), or apply a unified curve across all.
- User-defined curves: Import tabulated or point-set curves from external sources like Excel.
- Appearance tweaks using CIECAM16: Adjust lightness, chroma, hue, and more using one of the most advanced appearance models available.
- Viewing conditions modeling: Simulate different environments (e.g., bright daylight, dim room) and embed those conditions into your profile.
- .CUBE file import: Bring in creative LUTs from video workflows and embed them into ICC profiles.
- Profile metadata editing: Customize copyright and description fields for sharing and archival.
The Monitor ICC Tweaker supports multi-monitor setups and auto-detects the active display. You can drag the application window to the target screen to ensure correct profile association.
Profile types supported
ICC monitor profiles typically come in two flavors:
- Matrix-shaper: Lightweight, fast, ideal for predictable displays.
- LUT-based: High precision, ideal for demanding workflows. (Note: macOS does not support LUT-based monitor profiles for direct assignment.)
You can choose between ICC v2 and v4 formats. V4 is recommended for its superior accuracy and flexibility.

- Choose grid resolution for LUTs and prelinearization curves.
- Enable fallback matrix-shaper tags for compatibility.
- Use any display profile as a base for your tweaks.
